Default Wheel upgrade fitment questions

I'm a newbie here, and I'm not familiar with wheel compatibility for my vehicle. I have a '17 ES350 w/ OEM 17" wheels. I'd like to upgrade to a 18" wheel, but I'm not certain what to be concerned with as I start looking for replacements. I assume bolt pattern must be matched, but what about width and offset?

You'll need to checkout back spacing & offset.....Have you checked out http://tirerack.com....load up your vehicle & go to wheel/tire packages to give you a idea....I went w/ TSW's accent wheels 8.5''x18 w/ a 20 offset w/ 235-55x18's on a rx.
