Dont attempt to harass your vehicle with 22" wheels. The 745 looks good with 22s because it is 198-200 sum odd inches long, has a really high belt line, and humongous wheel wells. You can also drop a 745 by about 2inches, run a staggered 22inch setup and not rub.
A second gen GS on the other hand, is 189inches long, has really small wheelwells (look how good they look with 18s), and short overhangs. The car will look like a bad experiment. get some nice 20s, a drop and a kit, it will give you that 'fender full of wheel' look you want!

The wheels are nice, but there's a lot of day light under the car and a lot of wheelwell gap as well. Just compare it to the cars with the 20's. Looks like a 4 wheeler from a distance.

Depending on your wheel offset, you still stand a chance rubbing if you climb driveways with the steering wheel cranked over and going over 10 mph.
Like I said previously, we were able to get zero rub at any speed over any bump with Synergy's car and Jawnthen's car with the right mods done to the front inner fender.
The fender LIP is not the problem, it's inside the wheel well.
Note: Synergy has since raised his car due to the introduction of a wife and in-laws.
It was dumped before.
