I had +44 18x8.5 on the front before. It would rub the wheel well inside plastic liner when turning the steering wheel all the way to one side.
JacobT, and your solution is? does spacer work?
Bro, Im praying with you
I hated a lot a rub sound from my dad's E-class.. I just wished they won't rub

It's very minor rubbing, you don't even hear it. Just when you took the tire off, you could see where the trie scratch on the plastic.

My current solution is a set of 20's with +38 offset

congrats on your wheels.

What disk size did you get? Did you get medium disk for front and low disk for back? Or did you go Low and Super Low?

Thanks, Swifty. I think on the front is high disk and super low for the rear.

The veilside car is using these wheel settings:

Golt Dish
19x9 +37
19x10 +37

So according to the calculations this is what will happen.

Front
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 9mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT in towards the body by 9mm

Rear
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 14mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT in towards the body by 14mm

So you can use a 9mm spacer up front if it rubs and a 14mm spacer if it rubs in the rear. I'd recommend the H&R Spacers. You main concern should be if it hits the caliper. The back of the wheel is very flat, so you have to be more exact in the fitment to clear the calipers.

Hello,

I hope I'm wrong about the front clearance, as well!! If you use a 245/35-19 tire, it might work- my 255/35-20 is on 20x9 +36, and the tire is perhaps 4mm away from the suspension upright... this means you can go as high as +40 on a 20x9. Yikes!!

The veilside car is using these wheel settings:
19x9 +37
19x10 +37
You've got 20x9 +44 and 20x10 +49 ?
Compared to the Veilside, the new front will be inboard 7mm
and the rear will be inboard 12mm- definitely no need to modify the fender in the rear.

What tires are you going to run? We want pictures !!!

Bob..thank you for the feedback

Blackened has 19x9(+44)+19x10(+49)..and i believe 245/35/19+275/30/19..overall diameter is ~3% less than 245/35/20+275/30/20...
