My college buddy sent me this pic. The diode on the left is blown out. ( has a hole in it) The second from the left is the new one my local shop installed. It didn't blow but my buddy replaced it. I bought extras incase something like this happened.

These are the 4 original mosfets the green thermal compound was not reusable. It crumbled into specs of sand as it was removed.

This is the heat sink the diodes and mosfets use. Picture is of the diodes with a cheap piece of thermal tape from the very first shop that replaced the 4 diodes.

Lower section are the 4 diodes Q119, Q118, Q117, Q116. The upper section D94, D96, D95, D97 are the 4 mosfets.

The spot that is missing the conformal coating is the 4 diodes.

Replacing them was out of my comfort zone. I felt defeated I couldn't get these out safely. Points for trying I guess.

I locked 2 nuts together with a washer. The washer gave my air chisel something to hit. I think the washer is what buggered the threads up. Whacking the aluminum is what eventually freed it. It's freed up in this picture thats why there is no gap between the nut and aluminum.

These poly bushings appear to have a sizable gap too. This is my first experience with poly bushings, not a fan.
