Close up of connector shell with white insert removed and the facing side of the plastic contact holder removed (it crumbles away quite easily) to illustrate the plastic locking lances. Using the pick, simply and gently insert point between the plastic lance and winglets of contacts. The plastic lances crumble away...thus allowing easy extractionl of wire and contact pin.
