The guy doing this work is 82. Been pouring concrete 50 years right here in my town. At $8/ft² i will happily pay for his knowledge and expertise. His sons do probably 80% of the work anymore but believe me when i say ol' man ronnie dont go home with clean hands. I also let them raid the outdoor fridge for drinks at thier leisure and cook them lunch because its hard work, especially when its hot, and because $8/ft² is about $12/ft² less than the going rate for most concrete pours right now.
