He was going to do valve seals in car, got annoyed and decided to just remove the heads. That lead to a "screw it why not" and just removed the whole powertrain.

As I mentioned before you can easily remove and set aside all of these lines, however to remove the intakes you don't even need to.

All wires lead to this heavy sheath, this is all that wood connect the conduit to the car once you disconnect everything else and it's long enough to allow you to move them totally out of the way

The full conduit can easily be seen here

The drivers side head top conduit has only one sense lead and you can unplug it easily from the 4th engine temp sensor before flipping this side up and away

The vaccum lines once disconnected here also unclip and fold away to the drivers side

The disconnect to allow you to swing the entire pass side conduit totally out of the way, once you unplug this and the coils etc you can flip it up on top of the upper bay/cowl area. Totally out of the way

You can see the ENTIRE harness in both sides comes into a hard conduit and then has short but very nice runs to the 6 coils and 4 O2 sensors/anything near. Nothing to that is far away is attempted to be serviced by the engine harness or is integrated with it

Ultra simple and clean lines and the passenger side harness has those white/orange disconnects so if you need to remove it you won't be "tethered" to the alternator. On a Lexus you will be.

Here is where the differences are though, compare this ECU connector block to the DI injection drivers that Lexus just slapped on top of the intake. The second ECU is hidden away but the master is presented right at the top of the bay

Vs this. PCV is on top since it's the most likely to wear out, intakes are just under it and removal only requires 4 bolts for PCV and 7 per intake. Much easier and there are no harnesses in the way.

This is nice but I would class this as essentially no covers

Rats nest, have fun getting the intake off or replacing wear items like the PCV/separator or even doing air filters since the MAFs like to snap the connectors.

I think this looks cleaner with covers on

With the $1800 cover installed. It's only really there to hide the PCV

Needs a light polish but not bad after clay. Ultra smooth and feels like glass now

Left set is the rears, it will snap out like a RWD car if you want it to in a good way. I love turning into my driveway using the right pedal lol!

Door seals are crazy good, didn't let anything into the closures.

The main issue I had was snow buildup in the front arches, I knocked it off before I parked. I drove the whole way in high mode to give the wheels more space.

All the assists were blocked by snow/ice, I didn't have anything working and the car warned me of that.
