Extreme Makeover

Here at Club Lexus, we see all sorts of builds, from mild to wild and everything in between. But you'll likely never see a makeover as extreme as melymel96's 2013 Lexus LS460 F Sport. From completely stock to trophy-winning show car, this is one amazing journey worth reliving here in the forums

Good Start

Melymel96 literally purchased his Lexus bone stock as a certified pre-owned car from his local dealership. But if you're going to build something as wild as he did, why not start with a nice, solid base?

Starting Small

Things, as they often do, started out mild. The OP's first mod was to paint the roof black, which gave this LS a nice visual upgrade. Then, melymel96 picked up a set of 22" Platinum Bi-Directional wheels to really jazz things up.

Full Body

As time went by, this LS build started getting way more serious, and a full body kit from Japan was the next play. Melymel96 had already waited weeks for this stuff to arrive, so he almost immediately started test fitting everything.

Needs a Massage

Most everything, save for the front half-bumper, fit pretty good. But after a good bit of massaging, the gaps were perfect and this LS was ready for some paint.

Nice Contrast

In the meantime, melymel96 installed his air ride setup and got his tires mounted on those shiny new wheels. And when it came time to paint the new body panels, he decided to add some black accents to break up all that white.

Nearly Perfect

All that was left was to install a roof spoiler and give this bad boy an alignment. And at this point, the Lexus was looking absolutely killer. It's hard to believe this LS came from stock to this in just a matter of months.

Small Changes

From here, it was all about little changes. Melymel96 swapped out his Brembo brakes for BBK because he didn't like the jerky feeling they exhibited. But soon, he revealed some bigger plans for the future.

Making Moves

"Car goes back in the shop soon for 3 new mods," he said. "AirRunner, Fenders, and? Since the last time I posted, I had the tint swapped out for the 'Mercedes' titanium blue tint, added the VIP starter kit with the Knot & fusa, as well as floor mats from the Crafted series line."

Finishing Touch

Soon, those upgrades were complete. "The car now has a nice new air suspension with AirRunner struts with Accuair's ELevel air management and their new Endo-VT tank," he revealed. And then, the final touch - a set of custom fenders. This LS turned out simply stunning, and you can relive the entire build process by heading over here
