2019 Lexus ES350 Ultra Lux: A Closer Look
This is a daily commuter with luxury, class, and proven reliability to boot.

For the 2019 model year, the Lexus ES350 has been given improvements. It has an all-new chassis, longer, wider, and has and more cabin space. There are more changes to look at as well. The horsepower of the 3.5 liter V-6 has jumped from 268 to 302. The old six-speed transmission is gone, replaced with a modern eight-speed. Fuel economy is rated at 22/33 mpg. On a highway trip, we did observe 31 mpg.

Info Screen
The infotainment screen is much larger at 12 inches, which gives a better view for navigation operation. The instrument panel is well designed and gives lots of useful information. Instead of a control stick as found on many other Lexus cars, the infotainment system is operated by a finger touchpad.

Camera
The camera system provides a 360-degree view and wider look from the rear. The large glove box holds plenty of items once the thick owner’s book is removed.

Price
Considering the quality, luxury, and driving performance, the $53K price tag is reasonable for a car in this class. The ES350 is a proven product, and one of the better choices in the Lexus lineup.
