Vehicle

This LC500 represents the best of what Lexus has to offer, both in engineering and styling. With a starting price of $92,200 and a total tab of $105,940 after all options on this one, it should be.

Styling

The LC certainly has an attention-getting shape. And even when viewed from the rear, the sharp lines and large exhaust outlets let onlookers know this machine is something special.

Engine

Feeding that exhaust plumbing is a potent 5.0-liter V8 cranking 471 horsepower, and it is hooked to a modern 10-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is rated at 16/25 mpg. 0-60 mph is reached in 4.4 seconds on a good day.

Those who want to choose gears manually can operate the paddle shifters found on the steering wheel.

Trunk

There is no spare tire in that trunk due to its small size. The battery is easy to find, however!

Wheels

The LC500 comes standard with 20-inch wheels. These optional 21-inch wheels can be had for $2,650 extra. They look sharp but generate slightly more road noise at freeway speeds.

POV

On the open road, this car is very comfortable, making it a great choice for long trips. Yet the strong acceleration and tight cornering ability make this a great sports car. Lexus engineers put a lot of effort into this design, and it shows.

Vehicle

When other drivers see this shape in their rearview mirror, they will know this is something special. Anyone who is lucky enough to drive one will know this as well.
