2022 Lexus RX L Black Line Joins Growing Family

Lexus' Black Line series has thus far proven to be quite popular, and the dark treatment has graced the flanks of models including the UX, NX, IS, ES, and GS. For some reason, that list hasn't included the ever-popular RX crossover, however, which has now become the latest member of the Black Line family for the 2022 model year.

Limited Edition

The 2022 RX Black Line Edition will be rather limited, as is the case with other Black Line models, as just 389 gas-powered units and 106 hybrids, or 495 altogether, will be built in total. Exterior color options consist of either the all-new Cloudburst Gray or optional Eminent White Pearl.

Blacked Out

The Black Line edition gets its name from a host of blacked-out elements, of course, and there are plenty of them present on the exterior of the RX as well. Aside from the aforementioned wheels, the crossover features black lug nuts, a black grille, black outer mirrors, a black name plate, and a black lower front bumper.

Interior Touches

Inside the three-row luxury crossover, the RX Black Line features black open-pore wood trim and Blue stitching on Black NuLuxe seats in the first two rows. This unique stitching carries throughout the interior on the console, shift boot, steering wheel, and upper instrument panel. Those touches perfectly complement the black floor mats, cargo mat, and key gloves, too.

Pricing

The all-new limited-edition 2022 Lexus RX Black Line special edition is already reaching showroom floors across the U.S. The suggested MSRP for the RX 350 L Black Line starts at $52,030, while the RX 450 hL Black Line starts out at $55,290.
