2023 Lexus IS: What's New and Notable?

Changes Coming

The current, third-generation Lexus IS debuted way back in 2013, but the compact luxury sedan has received a couple of refreshes along the way, including one for the 2021 model year. Regardless, the IS soldiers on into the 2023 model year offering a few notable changes that shoppers will want to be aware of.

IS 500 F Sport and IS 500 F Sport Premium

For 2023, the IS 500 will offer new 19-inch Enkei alloy wheels with a dark finish as standard equipment. However, the 19-inch matte black BBS forged alloy wheels will still be available as an option for both IS 500 F Sport Performance models. Meanwhile, the all-new 2023 Special Appearance Package is now available for both models as well. Limited to 150 units, that package adds Molten Pearl paint, a Black NuLuxe interior, unique color-matched floor-trimmed mats, and matching key gloves.

IS 300/IS 350 F Sport

For 2023, the IS 350 will be offered in a new F Sport Design grade for both RWD and AWD configurations that include all of the styling upgrades of the regular F Sport package without the performance additions. A Handling Package is also now available, as well as the new Special Appearance Package, which is limited to just 480 units for 2023.

Package Details

The new Handling Package adds Lexus' Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), a Torsen Limited-Slip Rear Differential on RWD models, and Drive Mode Select with Sport S/S+ and Custom Modes, while 19-inch Matte Black BBS forged alloy wheels are available as an option.

Special Appearance Package

Meanwhile, the IS 350 F Sport's Special Appearance Package includes a unique exterior combination featuring Incognito paint accented by an Obsidian black hood and roof, complemented by a black NuLuxe interior and 19-inch Enkei alloy wheels with a dark finish.

Exterior Color Options

For 2023, the Lexus IS is available in a grand total of ten exterior colors - Ultra White, Eminent White Pearl, Atomic Silver, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Caviar, Matador Red Mica, Infrared, Grecian Water, and Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0.

Pricing

In terms of pricing, the IS 300 starts out at $40,585, followed by the IS 300 AWD at $42,585, the IS 350 F Sport Design at $43,660, the IS 350 F Sport at $44,910, the IS 350 F Sport Design AWD at $45,660, the IS 350 F Sport AWD at $46,910, the IS 500 F Sport at $58,270, and the IS 500 F Sport Premium at $62,770, not including destination charges of $1,150.
