Fast Five

What started as a street racers dream turned into one of the most successful action-movie franchises in the last 20 years. The LFA featured here was driven by none other than Han Leu (Sung Kang), as he and Gisele (Gal Gadot) leave town with plans on heading to Tokyo, Japan. It’s telling how much the original producers weren’t planning on making these many sequels, with such an expansive universe, because the LFA used in the movie was a 2011 model and Tokyo Drift took place in 2006. But hey, at least the timeline is still easier to explain than the X-men film series.

Dimension W

There's a unique sense of pride that comes with owning a unique car, regardless of how much it costs. If it's rarely seen on the streets, having a run in with another owner of the same type of vehicle ultimate leads to a sharing a sense of mutual respect. The same can be said when spotting a car in a show that you'd never think to look.

The LFA featured here is driven by the protagonist of this anime hit called Dimension W. The show has quite a unique premise that deals with an unlimited source of energy in another Dimension that's funneled into the world with special types of machines called coils. Its main character Kyōma Mabuchi has a job as a collector, who is responsible for finding and collecting illegally used coils. He's portrayed as a stubborn "oldtimer" that wishes the world wouldn't rely on robots and would like to go back to a simpler time. As such, he works on and drives vintage cars. Since the show is set in the 2070s, the LFA is considered a classic in the show.

Fate of the Furious

No, you don’t need to go back and look. The car wasn’t actually driven here and instead was seen on one of the storage racks for the intelligence agency’s supercar garage. A bit of an easter egg, as a lot of the cars seen here, were also used in some of the older movies of the series.

Nine Lives

What better place to have an LFA, than a cliche' dad works too hard and is never home kind of movie, starring current problematic actor Kevin Spacey? Yeah, it's an odd movie, with an odd plot but at least there's a cool car in it. Here the LFA is specifically used as a placeholder to show off Tom Brand's (Kevin Spacey) wealth. The story follows the life of Brand, a successful businessman that often chooses to stay at work instead of being with his family, who ends up getting his consciousness stuck inside of a cat's body. It did fairly well at the box office and even though the general consensus was that while critics despised it, the regulars enjoyed it.

Meitantei Conan

Meitantei Conan, also known as Case Closed in America, is a Japanese Anime that follows a detective who was transformed into a younger version of himself. It’s an extremely popular show, that’s done well in both Japan and American. The LFA seen here was used in episode 804 of the series and belongs to one of the victims of the story. Because the show doesn’t have the licensing rights to use the actual emblems, the cars are modeled very closely to their real-life counterparts.
