1. Deceptive Ditcher

In late August of this year, a man in Florida purposely crashed his 2015 Lexus into a canal. The vehicle ditcher then made a false insurance claim for more than $20,000! Security cameras filmed the entire stunt, leading to his arrest for perjury, criminal mischief, and insurance fraud. (Image unrelated)

2. Accessory to Burglary

Earlier this week, a teenager in Deerfield Beach, Florida stole a gray Lexus, then proceeded to burglarize four homes in the Pompano Beach area. Ali Dukes, 18, stole checkbooks, credit cards, a pistol, electronics and $5,000 worth of jewelry, all of which were found inside the stolen Lexus. His spree came to an end when he crashed the Lexus after trying to flee from a patrol car.

3. What a Bust

Back in 2012, a man in New Jersey was trying to flee the scene of a drug bust at a strip mall when he decided to drive his black Lexus sedan straight into a state trooper! The man, Ariel Acosta, said he thought the state trooper as well as several other law enforcement officers were trying to rob him, so he tried to escape.  The pinned trooper managed to shoot Acosta in the chest, but fortunately, neither man was seriously injured. Acosta was arrested recently after failing to appear at his court date for the prior incident.

4. Tragedy in Charlotte

Just last week in Charlotte, North Carolina, a 26-year-old woman named Ebony Little attempted to purposely hit a person she knew with her 1995 Lexus LS400. Apparently, the two had gotten into an argument, and Little had been drinking. She didn't end up hitting the person but proceeded to drive at high speeds on the opposite site of a nearby highway road, where she crashed into another car and flipped her car. Sadly, she didn't survive the crash; the driver of the other car was not badly injured.

5. Not so Fast

Two men under the age of 30 were trying to live out a Fast and Furious fantasy when they broke into a dealership in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and stole a Lexus RX 350 as well as a BMW sedan. The Lexus was driven through a fence to escape and was later found. The thieves caused $7,000 dollars worth of damage to the SUV. (Image unrelated)
