5 Hot Changes in the Redesigned 2017 Lexus IS

1. Headlights

If you've ever made eye contact with the Lexus IS, you know how fierce the headlights are. Well, the 2017 Lexus IS has upgraded headlights, and they are even fiercer. The upgraded headlights have flatter appearance than the previous ones that flow. The new headlights complement the aggressive styling of the IS, making it look sportier and more mysterious.

2. Grille

The new Lexus IS grille features horizontal inserts top to bottom. The new grille narrows higher than the previous one, which adds to an already aggressive front. The modified grille still matches the iconic Lexus grille, but with small, upgraded touches that make it more futuristic-looking.

3. Screen

The comfortable interior of the Lexus IS has always been a pleasure to sit in, but now, it is much more enjoyable than ever, thanks to the new 10.3 inches screen. The new screen grew from 7 inches to 10.3 inches, and the upgrade came with a new knob controller on the center console, as well as a few new buttons that make controlling the screen easy, quick, and fun.

4. Rear

Not that it needed any upgrading, but the rear of the Lexus IS is even more attractive now. The new taillights have new reflectors now, making them more of attention grabbers. The tailpipes are slightly reshaped to complement the rear of the IS. If the IS rear wasn't complete before, it should be complete now.

5. Safety System Plus

Lexus adds to its list of safety features, and the new Lexus IS now comes with the Safety System Plus. The Safety System Plus includes a forward collision warning system, automatic emergency braking, a lane departure warning with steering assist, and an adaptive cruise control. Lexus has always been reputable for being extremely safe, and now it can compete with the safest competitors on the market.
