Lexus 2054 in Minority Report (2002)

In cinema, the vehicles associated with each character or storyline play crucial developmental roles. Often, these vehicles become characters in their own right. Lexus designs have had a number of memorable appearances in Hollywood over the past few years. But one that you may have forgotten is the jaw-dropping Lexus 2054 concept that was created for the 2002 sci-fi action box office hit starring Tom Cruise.

The brain-child of Lexus designers and the creators of Minority Report, this futuristic Lexus has the capability to use magnetic levitation to transport its passengers without needing to touch the ground.

Lexus LC 500 in Black Panther (2018)

The Lexus sponsorship of the Black Panther movies is fresh on the minds of Marvel fans and Lexus enthusiasts. The special LC 500 featured in the 2018 movie was the talk of the town at and around the film's release. Other Lexus vehicles made appearances throughout the story, but the LC 500 is the one that shines like a true movie star.

Lexus QZ 618 in Men In Black: International (2019)

The reincarnation of the Men In Black series of movies in 2019 featured a transforming Lexus as a prominent part of the story. The Lexus QZ 618 spaceship is the vehicle in which the MIB fight to protect our world from extraterrestrial beings. If that front spindle grille reminds you of the one on the RC F, it's because that's exactly where it comes from.

Lexus RC F in Men In Black: International (2019)

That's right, the aforementioned Lexus spaceship is transformed into its alien-fighting shape from what looks like an ordinary Lexus RC F. While within the structure of the storyline, these two vehicles are the same, the RC F still shines bright as the MIB's normal human car in the movie.

Lexus Skyjet in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)

Another super futuristic depiction of Lexus branding, the Skyjet is designed as a fighting spaceship with highly advanced weaponry, set 700 years in the future. As was the case with the Lexus 2054 in Minority Report, the Skyjet was designed as a collaborative effort involving the Lexus design team and the entertainment designers working on the 2017 movie. It's a bit hard to believe the spindle grill will still be a thing in 700 years. But we digress.
