5. Lexus CT (2011-2017)

Sharing its hybrid powertrain and structural platform with the Toyota Prius, the Lexus CT 200h was built with a tried and true formula. Serving as the entry-level model for the Lexus brand at the time, the CT came with a more affordable starting price point than everything else on the Lexus lineup. The little hatchback came with the signature comfort that the Japanese make is known for, mixed with the practicality of a Prius.

4. Lexus IS (2013-2020)

Sitting directly above the aforementioned CT in terms of price point, the Lexus IS has long been a top seller for the brand, and one of the most popular luxury sedans in the world. The IS platform has essentially remained unchanged since 2013, with a couple of facelifts and upgrades in the powertrain systems. These sedans are still on the more affordable side of the spectrum. With more variations than the CT, the IS models naturally have more possible pitfalls. But they've already proven to be generally more dependable than their direct competitors from BMW, Audi, and Mercedes.

3. Lexus RX (2008-2015)

The perfect balance of practicality, the fourth-generation Lexus RX saw a nice styling update from its predecessor, giving it a more youthful look. Having won numerous consumer satisfaction awards, the RX adds peace of mind and lower cost of ownership to an already long list of pros.

2. Lexus GS (2011-2020)

The long production run of the final generation of the GS means the platform was a success. Additionally, the fact that the manufacturer had a good while to work out the flaws over the life of the luxury sedan also equates to higher quality in the later years. Pre-facelift models are more affordable on the used market for the time being. But things will likely level out in the coming years.

1. Lexus ES (2012-2018)

Often regarded as the Toyota Camry's fancy sister, the sixth generation of the Lexus ES has proven to be about as reliable of a luxury vehicle as we've seen in the last decade or so. In reality, its shares a lot more in terms of luxury with the Avalon than the Camry. With hybrid options available, the ES is the benchmark of reliable luxury.
