5 New and Notable Features of the 2024 Lexus LC 500

Welcome Improvements

The Lexus LC has been around since 2017 for the 2018 model year, which - in the automotive world at least - is a pretty long time. Regardless, the stylish and sporty coupe still stands out today, thanks to its concept car-like styling, and Lexus has added some welcome improvements to the car for the 2024 model year, too.

Exterior Colors

For starters, the 2024 Lexus LC 500 does a bit of shuffling to its exterior color lineup, adding two new hues - Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Copper Crest - to its list of available colors. Seven additional colors are also available including Caviar, Cloudburst Gray, Atomic Silver, Ultra White, Infrared, Flare Yellow, and Nori Green Pearl.

Interior Update

The same goes for the interior, which adds one brand new color - Dark Rose - to its list of available options. However, there's something far bigger lurking inside the cabin that will be of particular interest to those considering a 2024 LC 500.

New Screen

That something is the addition of a brand new standard 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen display. All models also come standard with a Panoramic View Monitor which combines images from the front, rear, left, and right-side cameras of the vehicle and displays them on the center display. Finally, Intuitive Parking Assist also becomes standard for 2024.

Bespoke Build

The 2024 LC 500 model lineup - including for the first time the LC 500 Convertible - offers the customizable Bespoke Build option, allowing customers to configure their vehicle with a mix of performance and styling components. Certain customization options include a carbon fiber roof and 21-inch forged alloy wheels with an all-black finish. In addition to the three standard interior colors offered on other LC 500 models, Bespoke Build will feature a new, unique White and Blue interior, too.

Safety First

For 2024, the LC 500 and LC 500h come standard with Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, which adds a suite of key active safety and convenience features including Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA), and Road Sign Assist (RSA).

Pricing

The 2024 LC 500 starts out at $98,850, while the LC 500h hybrid carries an MSRP of $102,150. Both models are expected to go on sale this June, providing shoppers with a stylish alternative to the many mundane options already on the market.
