1. It’s Perfectly Designed

There are a ton of crossovers on the market right now, ranging from the tiny/cramped models to 3-row behemoths. The RX 350 splits the difference between these two sizes, wherein it’s big enough to feel safe, but not too big that you feel like you’re driving a boat. In terms of its look, the aluminum hood and tailgate give the vehicle a lighter-weight aesthetic. The massive Lexus grille on the front gives the RX 350 some muscle, while strategically placed creases and cuts to its body gives the car an aerodynamic appearance.

2. Comfortable Interior

The interior of the RX 350 was designed with greater leg and knee room in mind. Spacious seating and plush cushions make the vehicle ideal for long trips. But beyond its interior design, the inside of the RX 350 is also quite versatile – the second-row seats are able to slide and recline to the comfort of its passengers, and the row can actually fold down entirely, giving its owner 80 cubic feet of transportation space!

3. Under the Hood

The engineers at Lexus have seemingly improved upon the RX 350’s fuel economy with each new model introduced. Today, the vehicle offers excellent mileage: for example, on the front-wheel drive model, it earns as much as 20 miles per gallon in the city and 28 on the highway; as compared to the all-wheel-drive model’s 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 on the highway. Also, worth consideration is the option of 270 to 295 horsepower models, as well as the choice to add adaptive variable suspension, for enhanced handling of the vehicle.

4. Top-of-the-Line Safety Features

Perhaps best known about the Lexus RX 350 are its safety features. Referred to as the Safety System Plus, among the more noteworthy features are the following: a pre-collision system that notes sudden stops and applies automatic brakes;  lane-departure warning for highway driving; automatic high-beam system that improves nighttime visibility, but also dims when it notes oncoming traffic; system stability control that detects and decreases loss of traction; adaptive cruise control capable of bringing the vehicle to a complete stop; blind spot warning; and a panoramic view monitor for a more expansive view of the driver’s surroundings.

5. Unparalleled Driving Experience

The Lexus RX 350 shares a lot with the Lexus ES sedan, and to this end, a similar driving experience. Both are smooth and silent, with a friction-free character often associated with luxury vehicles. More recent models offer better acceleration, upgraded handling that facilitates turns as well as parking, and the feeling of a more secure braking system which, altogether, provides additional stability into the driving experience.
