5 Songs That Mention Lexus

1. Hypnotize (Notorious B.I.G.)

It is no secret the Notorious B.I.G. liked a few things: money, violence, women, and cars. Biggie Smalls was ranked as one of the best rappers in the world; he rapped about a lot of things, even his Lexus LX. “Now who’s the real dookie, meaning who’s really the s***/Them ****** ride d****, Frank White push the sticks/On the Lexus, LX, four and a half/Bulletproof glass tints if I want some ***” – Notorious B.I.G. In his song Hypnotize, Biggie Smalls made it clear that a bulletproof Lexus LX is just as gangster as a Cadillac.

2. Can I Live (Jay Z)

As if being married to Beyonce isn't cool enough, Jay Z has managed to use Lexus in one of his songs, even though it doesn't rhyme with much. Jay Z, who is one of the most financially successful rappers in the world, rapped, “My mind is infested with sick thoughts that circle/Like a Lexus, if driven wrong it’s sure to hurt you.” He could've used a Bentley or a more rhyming "Benz-o," but he chose a Lexus for his song Can I Live.

3. Jesus Walks (Kanye West)

Kanye West is one of the most controversial rappers in the world. West is married to another controversial figure, a girl named Kim Kardashian that is famous for various things, none of them is related to a Lexus. “You know what the Midwest is? Young and restless/Where restless ****** might snatch your necklace/And next these ****** might jack your Lexus.” Although Kanye West has all the money in the world, it seems like getting his Lexus jacked is a big concern of his as he shows his concern in his song Jesus Walks.

4. Look What You've Done (Drake)

Drake is a Canadian rapper who gained exposure as an actor on Degrassi: The Next Generation. After being seen on the teen drama series, Drake quickly became an icon in the music industry, where he won various awards, like a Grammy. Drake sings in his song Look What You've Done, “Yeah, just a kid in a drop top/Lexus hopin’ that I don’t get arrested.” Many still wonder why does he drive in a drop top if he doesn't want the police's attention, but then again, a drop top Lexus is extremely cool.

5. Tattoo Tears (Tupac Shakur)

Tupac Shakur is considered one of the biggest gangster rap icons around the globe. The New York born rapper sold over 75 million records worldwide. Tupac was one of a few that were responsible for the East-Coast West-Coast rap wars; unfortunately, the war went further than just words, where Tupac was shot and killed on September 7th, 1996. “I got a dream to see my whole team in Lexus Coupes/My enemies dead ‘n’ buried, now the stress is through.” Tupac was praised to always rap about the truth, and in his song Tattoo Tears, he made it clear that a Lexus Coupe is a dream, even for the biggest rapper in the world and his crew.
