5 Things Less Luxurious than a Lexus

1. Other Luxury Car Makers

When it comes to premium automakers, nobody produces vehicles as luxurious as Lexus.  This is quite evident in comparison tests everywhere, but Lexus has historically shined the most in Consumer Reports' brand rankings each year.  Lexus took home 1st place this past year for producing "quiet, plush, and very reliable cars."  Other luxury brands, such as Audi (4), BMW (10), and Acura (11) simply don't match up.

2. The Locker Room at the Country Club

While the locker room at your local, prestigious country club probably smells like a combination of dirty socks and strong cologne, there's much fresher air to be found in your Lexus.  Many newer models even allow you to adjust the default sensitivity of the carbon filter, an option that few cars have these days.  Plus, the interior is much nicer to look at than some of the old dudes in towels.

3. Those Fancy, Overpriced Watches

High dollar watches are undoubtedly beautiful and reliable, but they really are one-trick ponies.  While more modern watches allow you customize a number of features, the stalwarts of wrist time management only allow you to adjust the time and date.  In comparison, Lexus gives you an amazing level of customization in their cars, most of them available in C-best settings.

4. A Fine Pair of Leather Gloves

Sure, a nice pair of leather gloves feel and look great.  But are they made out of semi-aniline perforated leather that is dyed all the way through, rather than just on the surface?  Opt for the luxury package on the new RX, and that's exactly what you get — a higher quality leather that not only looks great, but will continue to do so for many years to come.

5. Those High End Sunglasses

The best sunglasses in the world are designed to protect your eyes from those damaging UV rays, but you don't even need them when you're driving a Lexus RX.  That's because UV reduction technology is already built into the glass, keeping those rays outside where they belong.  So next time you go for a ride, remember that your Lexus is protecting you in more ways than one.
