1. You Wanna Race?

The Lexus is a fast car, there is no doubt about that, but not everyone that enjoys a car that can go quick likes to race all over the city streets. Numerous Lexus owners are sick and tired of listening to people asking them if they want to race at red lights, and although this could be a compliment to how sporty the Lexus is, it gets annoying after the fifth time.

2. Do You Drift?

Just because my car is perfectly balanced, due to precise weight distribution, doesn't mean I want to ruin my tires. We know that the Lexus is capable of drifting, but not everyone that owns a ball is an NFL player. If you have a Lexus, especially a smaller one, you will eventually get asked if you drift. Unless you are on the track waiting for your turn, this question could get very old.

3. You Bought a $60K Toyota?

It's no secret that Lexus is manufactured by Toyota, but that doesn't mean it's a Toyota in disguise with an expensive price tag. Both Toyota and Lexus are the leading brand names in the automotive industry, and although they are both some of the most reputable brands out there, the Lexus is quite different than the Toyota. The reason you pay more for Lexus is because of its performance, quality, and level of luxury you are getting. next time someone compares your Lexus to a Toyota, tell them you would still prefer a Toyota over their Nissan.

4. How Come You Didn't Buy a Mercedes?

The Germans invent the technology, and the Japanese perfect it. If you're not a Lexus fan, you won't understand why owners prefer it over the Mercedes. The Mercedes has always been reputable for being a luxurious car, but the Lexus has caught up to it, and now, numerous people choose it over the Benz. The realistic way to answer this question is the expensive maintenance, repairs, and cost of owning a Mercedes; however, the easiest way to answer it is to keep driving your Lexus while their Mercedes breaks down on them.

5. What Do You Have Under the Hood?

An engine! There is an engine in the engine compartment, why do people think there is a mysterious creature under the hood? Most people see Lexus owners as people that modify their engines and race them late at night, but the reality is, the Lexus IS develops 241 to 306 horsepower, there is no need to mess with it, it is perfect the way it is. So what is under the hood? A stock engine covered with a bunch of plastic, and it is still faster than whatever car than most of the cars on the road.

6. Lexus is for Old People

Older people have earned the right to enjoy an elegant and luxurious car like the Lexus, but the same smooth, fancy Lexus GS needs a young person to make the 467 horsepower come to life. If you say Mercedes-Benz S-Class is for older folks, we may take you seriously, but the Lexus is the most versatile vehicle out there, and with its elegant interior, smooth exterior, and aggressive engine, this car truly believes that age is just a number.

7. I Like Your Nissan

If you own a Lexus SC from the 1990s, people have probably mistaken it for the Nissan 240SX. There is nothing wrong with the Nissan 240SX, but no one wants to keep getting called the wrong name. Although both the 240SX and the SC are sports cars, it hurts a little when you get your mighty Lexus confused with a Nissan. The best way to answer this is to just drive off, and let karma take care of the rest.
