Art Car Winner is a UX Covered in Paper Flower Petals
The Spain branch of Lexus recently hosted an art competition focused around the Lexus UX.

Lexus headquarters in Spain recently held a competition for artists across the country. The subject of the art competition was the Lexus UX. And artists were encouraged to let their creativity flow and create digital art installations using the Lexus crossover as a three-dimensional canvas of sorts.
The Subject is the Lexus UX
The imagination of Spain's creative minds is on display in these beautiful and creative pieces centered around the UX. As is evident in the following photos, some artists took the idea of the UX as a canvas less literally than others. But in the end, the piece that took the prize was this installation of the UX covered in paper petals, dubbed the 'Zen Garden.'

Paper Petals
And there's a beautiful meaning behind the concept, too. The piece, created by Valencia's Clap Studio is a multi-faceted ode to Japanese culture. As explained by artists Jordi Iranzo and Angela Montagud, they "used paper, a significant element in Japanese culture, covering the car’s exterior in a form of Lexus vegetation, giving it volume.”

Real Life Installation
“Light is another essential quality in Japanese art and design, and here it transforms the Lexus US into a living thing. Depending on the position, tone, and intensity of the light, it generates changing textures and colors throughout the day,” Montagud remarked. The physical installation was completed over the course of a month in the courtyard of Club Alma in the city of Madrid.
