JT2MA71's 2015 Ultra White RC-F

Striking the perfect balance between aggressiveness and elegance requires very careful planning for a car build! JT2MA71's 2015 Ultra White RC-F is the perfect example of turning up the RC-F's striking looks to a whole new level while retaining the classiness that a Lexus should have.

JT2MA71's build started in late 2015 when he traded his modified 2013 Ultra White IS-F for a 2015 Ultra White RC-F with only 12,711 miles on the clock. Throughout nearly 3 years of ownership, JT2MA71 continues to treat his RC-F with the highest quality aftermarket parts to keep on evolving his project. Follow along to go through some of the highlights of this amazing Ultra White RC-F build!

Starting with the basics...

To kick off the massive modification list to this RC-F, JT2MA71 decided to tackle the suspension early on. FIGS front LCA rear bushing and rear upper arms were installed to reduce vagueness in the suspension and to provide a better platform to future suspension mods. Next, a set of Ohlins coilovers were installed on the RC-F which are some of the most premium and renown coilovers available in the market! After dialing in the suspension, it was time to address the wheels and tires!

Form and function!

Among all of the eye candy on this RC-F, the Velos Designwerks S3 One-Piece Forged Monoblock wheels stand out the most and complement the car's natural lines perfectly. With the car sitting just right on the Ohlins Coilovers, the 19x10 fronts with 255/30 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's and 19x12 rears with 315/30 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's provide an excellent stance to the car.

Superior braking performance!

The next step in the build was upgrading upon the great brakes that come equipped on the RC-F. RacingBrakes/FIGS 2 piece rotors were installed to reduce rotating mass and RacingBrake pads complete the braking upgrade package installed on this RC-F! Together, these upgrades provide a noteworthy increase in braking performance over the stock setup.

Weight reduction at its best!

With some exterior and braking upgrades addressed, it was time for the owner of this RC-F to put a personal touch on the interior. The highlight of the interior is this ultra-rare Status Hockenheim Kevlar/Suede seats which not only look great but also reduce weight significantly at the same time! Along with the seats, a DCT Motor Sports steering wheels, TRD Shift Knob, and TRD Start/Stop button was installed to transform the interior into something more performance oriented!

Letting that V8 breathe!

The naturally aspirated V8 sings a sweet song, even with the stock exhaust. However, once a proper aftermarket exhaust is fitted behind this radical V8, it turns into a completely different beast. A Meisterschaft exhaust was originally installed on this RC-F, however, it was later removed in favor of a LEMS Japan Titanium Exhaust. The craftsmanship required to build the LEMS exhaust is a marvel in itself and the sound it produces is to die for. The weight savings and increased exhaust flow with these other parts further elevated the RC-F's performance!

The subtle details...

To continue the theme of Japanese crafted aftermarket parts, the exterior of the car was fitted with tons of premium carbon fiber parts! Tom's and TRD supplied the carbon fiber parts like the front lip, side skirts, rear spoiler and rear diffuser. The striking Lexus Japan carbon fiber hood makes this build unique and provides a nice contrast to the exterior. The attention to detail shows in every weave and the seamless fitment on the RC-F. Custom badging and vinyl work complete the exterior to its current glory.

Engine bay dress up!

Since the owner decided not to skimp anywhere, even the engine bay was dressed up with functional mods! Chassis bracing provides greater structural support and promoted driving confidence. The titanium theme continues with miscellaneous titanium hardware under the hood to bring more cohesiveness to the build.

Overall, this Ultra-White RC-F is extremely well executed and among the best out there! Like every project, the modifications will never end and we are excited to see what JT2MA71 has in store next!
