With their recently unveiled Land Cruiser builds, the folks at Corsetti have achieved a great combination of modern and classic. Crucially, the essence of the Land Cruiser is very much in present and accounted for.

LS3 Swap

The most prominent upgrade in this restomod application can be found right under the hood. The Toyota's original power plant has been replaced by the highly capable modular LS3 V8 engine. The 6.2-liter GM mill is capable of 495 horsepower, which is a massive bump from the factory unit's 135.

Practicality

Aside from the increase in grunt, the fuel economy has been significantly enhanced as well. Compared to the original powertrain's 12 MPG highway gas mileage, the restomod can reach 24 MPG. Speaking of improved practicality, Corsetti equips the cabin of the Land Cruiser with modern tech like a 10-inch Pioneer infotainment system, accompanied by a high-quality sound system and a backup camera.
