There hasn't been word yet if Lexus will bring this color to production, but if the demand is high enough who knows what could happen?

From Barcelona with love

Lexus revealed this matte "prototype" back in May at the 2019 Barcelona motor show. The Japanese automaker has been enjoying its time using the LC as a moving canvas on which to throw a myriad of varying hues such as lat year's Blue Morpho paint.

The newest shade

Now the brand has come up with this matte "Space Orange" paint job that takes cues from "tones that can be seen when looking towards the sun in clear sunsets." Lexus says that its use of unique colors and special materials are the latest areas in which the brand wants to push innovation.

It's what's on the inside

The prototype LC is sitting on a set of 21-inch semi-matte black wheels with orange brake calipers. In the cabin, there are also Space Orange accents adorning various pieces sprinkled about against leather and Alcantara.

Unfortunately no extras here

Besides the matte orange paint job, the exterior has a carbon-fiber roof and rear diffuser.

Sigh, no power upgrades

There were no changes done to the engine or hybrid system which remains at the stock 354 hp from an NA 3.5-liter V6 and electric motor.
