By all accounts, the Lexus LC is an incredible-looking thing. With swoopy, futuristic styling, you won't fail to turn heads everywhere you go in Lexus' new halo coupe. The LC is so stunning, in fact, that it's hard to imagine that it could get any better. But thanks to Japanese tuner Artisan Spirits, it most certainly has.
Stalled Plans
AS actually debuted this amazing LC widebody kit two years ago, but it's just now hitting the market, albeit in a slightly different form. The Black Label GT LC you see here is actually a bit different than the original SEMA design, but it's no less attractive.
20 Years of Excellence
The Black Label kit was designed to celebrate the Tokyo tuner's 20th anniversary, and it's certainly a nice culmination of what they've learned over the years.
Understated Beauty
AS cut its teeth building body kits for everything from Mercedes to Porsche vehicles, and their calling card is their understated appearance. And that's really saying something considering the wild stuff that typically comes from Japan.
Factory Ready
The LC kit, in fact, looks like it could easily have been a factory option. Perhaps just slap a big, twin-turbo V8 under the hood and some LC F badges out back?
More than Style
Regardless, this attractive kit is available as separate pieces or the whole shebang. And you don't have to stop with just styling upgrades, either.
Stop and Go
Buyers can also opt for a KW suspension kit and big Brembo brake upgrades to enhance the handling and stopping power of their LC. And if you want to hit the track safely, they even offer a roll cage and Sparco racing seats as options.
More Power
Of course, the thing we're all most interested in is power. And AS offers an upgrade there as well, in the form of an "engine modification pack" that ups the 5.0's displacement to 5.6-liters and helps it produce 518 hp instead of the stock 467.
Relationships Matter
But that's the sort of thing you can do when you enjoy a great relationship with Lexus and Toyota, as AS obviously does. Twenty years in the business doesn't hurt, either.
