For 2020 LC 500 Inspiration Series Gets a New Color

A color that's a bit reminiscent

Lexus announced earlier this week that they will be releasing a new color addition to the Inspiration Series which will be Nori Green. It's really close to what most enthusiasts know as British Racing Green that Aston Martin is famous for but Lexus does have a little twist to it. 

It's a soothing color palette

On the inside, Lexus has paired the Nori Green with a combo of Saddle Tan and Black Amber leather for a nice brown compliment. The seats have been wrapped in tan aniline leather while the doors feature Alcantara inserts. The steering wheel, center console, doors, and dash are all wrapped in black leather.

Reducing fender gap

Another change that makes this Inspiration model special are the hefty 21-inch two-tone wheels that sit right underneath those bulging fenders. If there is ever a day that someone thinks that this was a mundane LC you can just point them to the special sill plates that serve to as Lexus would say "function as a subtle reminder of this car's rarity every time you open the door."

We're just saying

Sadly, under the hood things remain as they always have been with the NA 5.0-liter V8 powerplant dishing out 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. That 10-speed automatic is still there also sending power to those rear wheels for a 0-60mph time of about 4.7 seconds. (Pssst, Toyota....if you slapped a blower on these Inspiration Series models it would be even more special.)

What it'll cost

The Nori Green Inspiration models will go on sale this fall with just 100 examples being made for the United States. No announcement on the price tag has been made yet but if it stays in line with the last model from 2019 that expect something around $107,000.
