A Cleaner Facia

Upfront you'll notice a revised headlight treatment, which is much cleaner, refined, and beautifully integrated into the facia. As far as the grill, a three-dimensional, polyhedral structure fills the spot, while new daytime LED lights fills those revised headlight housings.

Enhanced Bodywork

On the bodyside, a deeper more pronounced transition from the lower diagonal edge in front of the rear wheel well gives the new IS a greater sense of motion and dynamic flair.

New Stylish Rear End

The Lexus IS for 2021 at the rear, now sports wrap-around lighting and a curvier trunk lid. The section over the rear wheels is also much more pronounced giving the vehicle some more visual width in return making it look much sportier than its previous version.

Subtle Details

Circular air vents make their way into the cabin for 2021, while simplified graphic breakups on the passenger side give the interior a cleaner feel. The infotainment screen also moves 3 inches closer to the driver for improved access and to help keep driver focus where it should be.

Still Sporty Still Luxury

Not much change on the Lexus IS interior seating for 2021. The cabin remains luxurious while touting slightly bolstered seats for that sporty feel. The overall car gains 30mm in width for 2021, and the interior no doubt reaps a gain in space as well, but for the average consumer, it will most likely go unnoticed.

Potent Powertrain

Whatever level of driver you are, Lexus has you covered. Not only for 2021 do you get options like Dynamic Handling Package with adaptive variable suspension and 19 wheels, but you also have the option of potent engine choices like a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower or a 3.5-liter V6 with 260 horsepower. Still not enough for you? Lexus also offers a 3.5-liter V6 pumping out 311 horsepower to get you around in a hurry.
