Japanese Flyers Can Now Enjoy First Class Lexus Transfer

While many folks are content with being crammed into coach seats like a sardine in a can, more discerning flyers go first class or nothing. And if that's your cup of tea, Japanese airline ANA is stepping things up another notch with Japan’s first terminal transfer service for First Class passengers on ANA-operated international flights. And those transfers just so happen to take place in an equally luxurious Lexus.

Private Service

Passengers arriving at Haneda Airport on connecting ANA flights will now be met by a private Lexus ready to transfer them between the international and domestic terminals. Sure beats fighting your way through hectic crowds, trying to snag a greasy snack between flights. Even better, no reservation is required for this unique service.

Coming or Going

If you arrive in a domestic terminal, an ANA staff member will greet you at the gate and escort you to your Lexus, which will then take you to your arrival point. Those arriving from international connections and informed of the location of their pick-up point, where their dedicated Lexus awaits.

Fine Print

First-class passengers with a domestic-international connection at Haneda Airport are eligible for the service, whether you are using an award ticket or not. The only caveats? You can't have separate tickets for domestic or international flights, and only same-day connections are eligible.

Exclusive Offering

ANA utilizes a variety of Lexus vehicles for this service, including the LS, LX, and RX. They aren't the first airline to offer a private transfer service such as this, but they are the only ones using only Lexus vehicles. The fact that it's included in the price of a first-class ticket is also a nice touch. Because who wants to walk through crowded terminals to get from gate to gate, anyway?
