LC Convertible Looks Even Better In Regatta Edition Trim

It's hard to find a general consensus these days about anything, but we'd argue that no one out there finds the Lexus LC anything but attractive. Now, the automaker is upping the ante with its new Regatta Edition, which accomplishes the seemingly impossible task of making the LC look even better than it already does.

Stunning Shade

To create the LC Regatta Edition, which Lexus says harnesses the "ambiance of a luxury marina," they first coat the car in a stunning shade of Structural Blue. The paint, which debuted on the LC coupe, is designed to "replicate the depth of tone found in the natural world" and uses micro-particles in the pigment to reflect light in a unique way, changing the appearance of the finish depending on the angle you look at it and the type of lighting present.

Premium Look

Meanwhile, a Marine Blue soft top provides a bit of contrast to that amazing paint treatment. The interior continues the marine theme by combining a series of blue and white accents, all of which mesh together quite nicely and lend a premium feel to the cabin.

Limited Availability

For now, the Regatta Edition LC convertible is only available in Europe, but with any luck, it'll make it to the U.S. as well. The automaker did say that it's a strictly limited production model that will debut sometime this fall.

Pricing

As far as pricing goes, well, that's anybody's guess at this point. But it's almost a given that the Regatta Edition LC convertible will cost over $100k, as we've seen others crest this mark already.

Perfect Combo

Regardless, we'd argue that the Regatta Edition LC combines the best color available on Lexus' grand touring beauty of a drop-top with some other very attractive styling features. And that makes it well worth the premium price.
