The Toy That Isn't a Toy

For most of us, the dream of owning a real Lexus LFA is probably a pipe dream. With prices skyrocketing and few available on the market, our bank accounts simply won't allow it. But that doesn't mean you can't build your own Lexus LFA, at least out of toy bricks! Building incredibly detailed Lego cars aren't exactly child's play either, becoming an increasingly popular adult hobby these days. And judging by the looks of Flickr user Noah_L's LFA build, he's got some serious skills!

Not Just a Source of Pain

Noah's incredible build is a perfect example of what you can do with tiny plastic blocks. Besides step on them and scream, of course. Noah cut his teeth building bricked versions of other iconic machinery like the Ferrari Enzo and Pagani Zonda, so he's got a little experience with supercars. That experience truly shows in this Lexus LFA build, as the details here are nothing short of amazing.

Blocky Rear

Take a look at the rear of the car, for example. Those iconic, oversized air intakes look just like the real thing. The taillights, third brake light, and even recessed license plate area are all there. Heck, the rear spoiler even deploys and retracts, just like the real thing. Obviously, it's a little more blocky than the real thing, but that's what happens when you're building with blocks.

Just Like the Real Thing

The front of the Lego LFA is equally impressive. Anyone familiar with the car's iconic lines immediately knows what this is, which pretty much says everything you need to say about the build. The headlights, air intakes, and bulging fenders all look like the real thing. The only thing missing is a snarling V8 under that plastic hood!

All About the Details

But perhaps the most impressive part of Noah's build might just be the interior. The bright red cabin might not be swathed in leather like the real thing, but it does feature seriously impressive detailing. Look closely, and you'll even spot a pair of paddle shifters flanking the steering wheel! And even the seats are bolstered, as they should be in a proper supercar. Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to try and find all the pieces we'll need to recreate this exciting little car.
