Fresh off the production line

Spotted at the StanceNation Japan G Edition event is this LS 500h that develops 473hp. All of that power comes from a 295hp 3.5-liter V6 Atkinson-cycle engine that's paired up with an electric motor that generates an additional 178hhp. The D-4S direct fuel injection and lightweight valvetrain components allow the engine to rev all the way up to 6,600 RPMs. Variable valve timing allows a longer torque plateau so the passengers can really feel the kick that the hybrid has.

A quick turnaround

Lexon received the car just two days before the StanceNation event in Odaiba and that's the reason that the exterior is still on the stock side of things. However, the company does know exactly what they want to do to the car with FRP accents and tasteful carbon pieces on the menu.

Drop it low

What was done to the car, is to fit a controller that overrides the stock air suspension and lets the bags air out, dropping the ride height. Then a set of lightweight RAYS Volk Racing G25Edge forged wheels in 22x9-inch sizing gives the luxurious big body a sportier appearance.

Understated brawn

Lexon did a tasteful job with the sedan with a reasonable parked sitting height and wheels that complement the aesthetics of the design. Lexus really knocked this one out of the park when they greenlit the design on this model. Staring at the car gives off the notion that this is an Olympic athlete in a tailored suit just twitching to show you what lies beneath the surface.

Much more to come

The upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon will undoubtedly play host to many 2018 LS models with new aero parts and body kits to feed those who seek individuality.
