TRD upgrades for LC500 put the halo car over the top.

Making the LC even more individual

The Lexus LC is a choice example of style and substance. It bold grille is balanced by a classic long hood design. For sunny days, cruising with the roof retracted, this Lexus is without rival. Rolling along in great refinement. But for the 2021 model year, Lexus has added some new colors and trick TRD styling upgrades.

New bumper lip

Beyond the bold color combinations, Lexus is also offering some tidy new TRD parts. There is a new front splitter, which adds additional downforce at speed. This upgrade does reduce the LC500's approach ground clearance by 1.18-inches.

Checking your blind spot - in style

Lexus is also offering these shapely wing mirrors, for LC500 owners. They function to improve aerodynamic efficiency and reduce wind noise. Of course, it doesn't hurt that these wing mirrors look really cool, too.

Securing the deck - with a wing

Lexus engineers have also found a way to allow LC500 owners to increase the rear-axle downforce on their cars. This large spoiler is affixed to the car's rear deck area and shaped with the best TRD motorsport principles in mind. It looks purposeful - because it works. Using the aft deck area airflow, to pressure some additional downforce on those rear wheels, aiding tracking stability - at high speeds.

Calming the buffeting influence

In the pursuit of excellent aero, Lexus has sourced this rear seat top-cover. It helps to manage airflow turbulence over the rear seat headrests, reducing any cabin wind buffeting at speed. Again, it is validated by the skill of TRD's aerodynamic specialists and includes a transparent deflector screen.

Tricking out the rear

The last bits of optional TRD trickery on offer is a rear diffuser and new wheel designs. Although the integrated diffuser, which sits below the rear bumper, does help to stabilize airflow under the LC500, it also reduced the car's rear ground clearance by 1-inch. For the 2021 model year, Lexus is also offering three new 21-inch alloy wheel designs, which are both lighter and stronger, than those which have been available before.
