Major Win

In the automotive world, it's no secret that Lexus has long made some of the most reliable vehicles on the planet. This has also translated to models that hold their value better than most, which is a good thing for owners, obviously. In fact, Lexus just managed to top the premium segment of the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. ALG Residual Value Awards for the fourth consecutive year, which is an amazing feat that the agency attributes to "a measured approach in their freshening of products, trim levels and powertrains, resulting in higher residual performance and better long-term value for their customers." In addition to this overall win, Lexus also had a whopping four individual models top their respective segments, too.

Lexus IS

In that regard, the Lexus IS took home a win in the compact premium car category, having been around in its current form since 2013. The IS did receive a significant refresh for the 2021 model year, however, which has helped it stay afloat in a fledgling segment with modern styling and amenities.

Lexus NX

The NX was an easy choice here as the best model in the compact premium SUV segment, having just been treated to a redesign for the 2022 model year. Since its launch, the second-generation NX has been a smash hit with consumers, thanks to its thrifty powertrains, sporty styling, and luxurious amenities in one of the hottest segments in the automotive world.

Lexus LX

The same goes for Lexus' flagship SUV - the LX - which is also fresh off a total redesign for 2022. It ranked as the best model in the large premium SUV segment, a performance no doubt buoyed by its dramatic styling and a bevy of top-notch premium features, which include the presence of the pricey Ultra Luxury model and its second-row sanctuary.

Lexus RX

Finally, we have the RX, which received a redesign for the 2023 model year. The long-running crossover has long been a favorite of shoppers and that shows with yet another win in J.D. Power's Residual Value Awards, this time by topping the mid-size premium two-row SUV segment.
