Lexus Driving School Now Offering RC F and LC Models
This one day of vehicular activities put on by Lexus will teach you how to wring the most of their V8 vehicles.

The Lexus Performance Driving School taking place at the iconic Weather Tech Raceway Laguna Seca is quite the grounds to gain new respect for luxury sport cars. The Performance Driving school, now in its 4th year, is a whole jam-packed day of instruction and driving done by top-shelf instructors in order to push you to your motoring limits.
What will you pick up?
The program hosted by Lexus is designed to take what you know (or may not know) and elevate you to a point where you are more than comfortable with higher-performing vehicles. Skills that will be taught and honed at the day-long course will be proper car control, driving vision, braking, cornering, and throttle techniques.

The course
Participants will go through various cars firstly getting comfortable with the layout of the course and then gradually implementing new skills while slowly pushing the cars further and further. Laguna Seca has a long and storied history with a circuit that is home to the infamous "Corkscrew." The Corkscrew is a combo of hard lefts and hard rights complicated by an elevation change. The elevation change I'm referring to is a 59-foot drop which happens in a length of about 450 feet. I imagine that there will be quite a large number of guests who will have "my life flashed before my eyes" moments as their tires leave the ground at speed.

Hotel Partnership Travel Packs
This being a Lexus event there comes a certain level of attention and care that is bundled with the experience. For instance, if you decide that you'd like to have a bit of relaxation in Monterey after all that excitement on the track you can stay at one of the hotels that have partnered with Lexus. Those hotels include The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay, or Casa Palmero at Pebble Beach.

How to get in there
While you may feel more of a connection to the cars if you are an owner of an F vehicle, this event is open to anyone. The cost to enroll in the event is $995 but will, of course, go up from there if you start to look at hotel packages. At this point, there are just three more dates left for this year with Nov 15, Nov 16, and Nov 17.
