Lexus NX and RX Receive An Even More Audacious Grille
If the regular Lexus spindle grille isn't crazy enough for you, a Russian company has taken that design to the extreme.
Pure Aggression
The biggest, and perhaps only complaint most people have about modern Lexus vehicles relates to their insanely large spindle grilles. But as the years have gone by, you hear less and less people gripe about them. And now, a Russian company called SCL Global Concept is actually making even more bodacious grilles for the Lexus NX and RX that couldn't possibly be any more aggressive.

In Your Face
The grille is just part of a new body kit that SCL called the "Goemon" for the RX and "Kotaro" for the NX. In both cases, the look is extremely aggressive and in-your-face. If you can get past the grille design, there are plenty of other bits worth looking at, however. But we know that's a difficult ask.

OEM Like
The body kits also consist of a new hood, restyled front bumpers, an upper and lower trunk spoiler, and side skirts, all made from good old fashioned fiberglass. SCL says that the parts weigh about the same as OEM bits and are capable of handling extreme temperatures with no problem.

Rounding Out
Rounding out the package is a centrally-mounted rear exhaust tip that looks like something off a Lamborghini, a large rear diffuser, and a fresh set of wheels that are actually quite attractive. Admittedly, all of these changes truly transform both Lexus utilities, and we're kinda digging the newly aggressive look.

Pricing
If this kind of thing is your cup of tea, pricing for the two kits comes in at $6,800 for the NX Kotaro kit and $9,800 for the RX Goemon kit. According to SCL, all of the parts bolt up to the vehicles with no additional modifications needed, and individual pieces are also available for purchase in case you don't like that crazy grille or any of the other components.

High Quality
SCL says all the parts feature a thickness of 2-3 mm, with a temperature resistance of up to 120 degrees for maximum strength. It certainly seems like a quality kit, and the fit and finish looks rather nice as well, which you can't say for a lot of body kits out there on the market.

Hot or Not?
We're sure there are at least a few people out there in the world that don't think modern Lexus vehicles have an aggressive enough grille. So for them, SCL's kit should be just the ticket. But we also wouldn't be surprised if more than a handful of people are currently trying to unsee this thing, either. In the end, it's just like the old saying goes - beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
