Chassis Enhancements and Overtrail Trim

Lexus has revamped the chassis of the NX, introducing braces to improve rigidity and suspension tuning for enhanced handling stability and ride comfort. The introduction of the new Overtrail trim brings blacked-out exterior accents, a Moon Desert color option, and 18-inch black aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires, catering to off-road enthusiasts and enhancing ground clearance by 0.6 inches.

Interior and Off-Road Features

Inside, the NX Overtrail boasts exclusive Monolith upholstery and door card ornaments, reflecting attention to detail in both design and functionality. The model is equipped with adaptive variable suspension tuned for stability on uneven terrains, offering a smoother off-road driving experience. Additionally, the improved Trail mode enhances tire grip and power distribution for better off-road performance.

Sonic Copper and Cabin Updates

Alongside chassis upgrades, Lexus introduces new exterior paint options such as Sonic Copper, while the cabin receives Solis White and Hazel upholstery choices. Practical enhancements include the addition of two USB Type-C charging ports and exterior lighting on the rear handles, enhancing convenience and visibility.

Advanced Technology Integration

The updated NX lineup features a significant technological overhaul, including a larger 14-inch Display Audio Plus touchscreen and improved Qi wireless charging. Advanced Park assistance and Parking support braking are now available in the NX350 F Sport, showcasing Lexus's commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into its vehicles.

Expanded Equipment and Availability

Further improvements across the lineup encompass enhanced standard equipment, such as full LED headlights with adaptive high beams in the NX350 and NX350h F Sport trims. Optional features like the panoramic sunroof, previously in demand, are now available for the NX450h+. Despite initially launching only in Japan, the updated NX models are expected to reach the US for the 2025 model year.

Pricing and Sales Performance

With the updated NX already available in Japan, pricing ranges from ¥5,120,000 ($34,023) for the entry-level NX250 2WD to ¥7,725,000 ($51,334) for the top-tier NX450h+ Overtrail AWD. The NX has been a success for Lexus, with over 1.42 million units sold worldwide since its debut in 2014, showcasing its popularity across diverse markets and the growing demand for hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants.
