Lexus X 100 Thieves Roll Out Custom NX To Celebrate Championship
This crossover's unique look is actually full of Easter eggs.
Commemorative Crossover
The 2022 Lexus NX ushered in some big changes for the crossover with a mid-cycle refresh, all of which aim to keep it atop its segment in terms of sales. Lexus also recently announced a new partnership with 100 Thieves, a successful gaming outfit. Thus, it makes perfect sense that the luxury brand would want to celebrate 100 Thieves' latest championship win with a special, one-off NX build.

Familiar, Yet Different
Fans of 100 Thieves will undoubtedly recognize what this NX's look is all about, as it features the first generative artwork leveraging championship gameplay data applied to a vehicle. The vehicle's "champion print" mirrors the e-sports group's signature geo-print, but gives it an entirely new spin.

Champion Print
To create a graphic representation of 100 Thieves’ championship win, Lexus input raw player data into a generative design tool created especially for the project. Player actions and movements from the team’s 11 winning playoff matches are represented by lines, nodes and curves. Each win is outlined in reflective red ink and etched with a designated top player name.

Other Highlights
The Thieves NX started out life as a 2022 NX 350 F Sport Handling AWD model, which has been customized with 100 Thieves-themed embossed headrests, floor and cargo mats, puddle lamps, door sills, and ambient lighting.

Tech Updates
Technology upgrades include a Lexus Interface with a 14-inch touchscreen display, Intuitive Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, Drive Connect with Cloud Navigation, Google points-of-interest (POI) data, and Intelligent Assistant with Hey Lexus and Destination Assist.
