1. The ES 300h

The hybrid power that this Lexus provides offers 200 hp and 40 miles to the gallon for combined city and highway driving. The price of 41,500 will get you an opulent array of standard features that include keyless ignition, dual climate control, xenon headlights, and dual power front seats.

2. CT 200h

Although the CT 200h will not be making a return to the states for the refreshed model, the great little car still makes our list. The CT 200h is the Lexus version of the Toyota Prius which means that it carries a lot of the last gen Prius tech underneath its tuxedo-clad body. The car is rated at 43 mpg and 40 mpg on the highway which is great for the entry level luxury vehicle. The CT is marked at about $33,000 but you could find an even better deal with the dealerships looking to push off CTs to make room for other hot commodity models.

3. NX 300h

The still kind of new crossover vehicle called the NX was made to please those who need a little more than a car but don't want to go full SUV. With prices starting at $36,060 but still garnering features like Bluetooth connectivity, a rearview camera and satellite radio the NX deserves a second look from prospective buyers. The small Lexus isn't overly thirsty but sadly it isn't amazingly efficient either. This version of the NX will get you 33 miles in the city and 30 on the highway.

4. GS 450h

The GS 450h has one of the highest base horsepower ratings in its class with a V6 engine hooked up to two electric motors that get the car to 340 horsepower. The GS 450h gives you the power when you need it along with a quite good impressive 29 mpg in the city and 34 on the highway which is great for its size. The GS Hybrid starts at $63,635 and offers plenty of standard tech that will ensure a comfy ride. Standard features include a moonroof, a 12 speaker audio system, Siri Eyes Free, and a remote touch controller.

5. RX 450h

The original luxury hybrid SUV still delivers despite lowering gas prices. The RX 450h starts at $53,185 which will get you diamond pattern stitching on the seats, a nice 8-inch center display and ambient lighting for night driving. All conventional and hybrid models get a 3.5-liter V6 but the hybrid will get a version that's modified to run on Atkinson cycle for max efficiency while blending in electric power. The front wheel drive models get two motors with the main motor rated at 165 horsepower and all-wheel drive models add to a 67 horsepower motor in the rear. The RX 450h gets 31 mpg in the city with a decent rating of 30 mpg for driving out on the highway.
