Even Bolder

The all-new 2022 Lexus LX 600 was just revealed a couple of months ago, sporting a new, bold design, a very luxurious cabin, and a new V6 powerplant in place of the outgoing V8. However, Toyota's in-house tuning company Modellista didn't waste any time cranking out a series of new exterior parts for the big SUV to give it an even bolder look.

Front Lip

That makeover starts up front, where Modellista gives the LX a new spoiler that sticks out a bit, adding a bit of visual flair to the SUV's front end that's dominated by its huge new spindle grille.

Distinctive Looks

The look is certainly distinctive, but it also continues down the side with a new set of stainless steel, full-length running boards that change the look up quite a bit while also helping passengers get in and out of the vehicle a little easier.

New Wheels

Modellista also offers a unique set of 22-inch forged aluminum wheels that can be purchased with or without tires, and also come with locking lug nuts for security purposes.

Aggressive Skirt

In the rear, Modellista gives the LX a new skirt that has a wing-like design that's slimmer and more aggressive than the stock piece. It's a pretty cool-looking piece, to us at least, and gives the rear end of the full-size luxury SUV a nice makeover.

Performance Parts?

For now, at least, Modellista's LX offerings are limited to these visual upgrades, but we wouldn't be surprised to see it offer some performance parts in the near future. At the very least, a more aggressive exhaust for the SUV's new twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 that makes 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.

Coming Soon

Weighing in at 441 pounds less than its predecessor, the new LX also takes the place not only of that model, but also the Land Cruiser - which is no longer sold in the U.S. The 2022 LX will launch here soon, with an expected arrival date window in the first quarter.
