RC Emotional Ash Special Edition Is a Stunner

Attractive Upgrade

Lexus routinely cranks out new special edition models every year, each one offering up a unique combination of features and styling touches. The latest is this - the RC "Emotional Ash," and it carries on the luxury automaker's recent trend of giving a limited number of buyers a very attractive set of upgrades on an existing model.

Going Dark

Both inside and out, the RC Emotional Ash has been treated to a number of nice upgrades that add up to a look that's both unique and highly attractive. That starts with a set of black 19-inch wheels, which go along with a host of exterior black trim - a look that's all the rage these days.

Exterior Mods

Additional exterior modifications include a brilliant black-painted spindle grille, trinocular full LED headlamps, black side mirrors, and black mufflers. It's fairly similar to what we've seen on Lexus' Black Line special edition packages, but perhaps even more attractive, at least in our humble opinion.

Special Effects

The interior is even more unique than the exterior, as the cabin bears a host of natural Ashwood grain trim inlays for the instrument panel and the power window switches located on the door panels. Those inlays create varied silver effects depending on how the sunlight hits them, which is a nice touch and befitting of the package's name.

Additional Differences

Aside from these highly attractive trim pieces, there are a couple more updates for the RC Emotional Ash's cabin, including special leather for F-Sport models and silver stitching for all other trims.

Pricing

Pricing for the RC Emotional Ash starts out at 6,469,000 Yen ($61,821 USD) for the RC 300, rises to 6,917,000 Yen ($66,102) for the RC 300h, and begins at 7,477,000 Yen ($71,454) for the RC 350.
