The Fast and Furious MKIV Supra is Headed to Auction

This star of the silver screen will be rolling across the stage courtesy of Barrett Jackson's Las Vegas auction taking place from June 17th to the 19th. The Lamborghini Candy Orange pearl painted Supra appeared in the 2001 film as well as 2003's "2 Fast 2 Furious." 

The real deal

The car is being offered with a "no reserve" listing but there is zero indication of a starting price point. According to the auction info, the car comes with extensive documentation that includes certification of authenticity that the car did indeed appear in the two films.

The highs and lows

Okay, so here comes the little bit of letdown about this car, it's stock. However, that's actually not all bad. Also, as much as we'd love to have the insane setup that came with a magical number of gears to row, this is an auto transmission. Not all is lost though as this is still a turbo 2JZ-GTE 3.0-liter inline-six engine.

Just as beautiful as 20 years ago

On the exterior of the car is the iconic Troy Lee-designed “Nuclear Gladiator” graphics down the sides, a front bumper and side skirts from Bomex, a TRD style hood, and APR aluminum rear wing. Underneath the car are 19-inch Dazz Motorsport Racing Hart M5 wheels.

I owe you a 13 second car???

The inside of the car looks so good since it was also used for interior shots in addition to exterior ones. The aftermarket gauges, steering wheel, seats, and head unit are all of the time and take me back to those days of flipping pages in the newest issues of magazines likes Super Street and Import Tuner.
