Chuck bought an IS 350

A man named Chuck was off to a very good start when he picked up this 2007 Lexus IS 350 back in 2007. Born as a mid-level luxury sedan, it rode very comfortably and sporty at the same time and had some decent power to back it up with a 3.5L V6 engine that was named in Ward’s 10 Best Engines list in 2007. But Chuck wasn't satisfied with leaving well enough alone. He decided to build upon his Lexus and over time it has evolved into the sporty machine you see before you.

Chuck made some changes

Starting with the exterior, Chuck added a Vertex front lip and side skirts, along with a custom IS F rear bumper conversion to bring the body closer to the ground. He also added a Wald trunk spoiler and a Jun-TW roof spoiler. But Chuck didn't stop there. He sprung for JDM window visors, LX Mode front grille, VIP puddle lights, a custom painted black/gold pearl roof, and a 2012 IS F LED headlamp upgrade. But if you're going to upgrade your lighting, you need to upgrade all of your lighting, so Chuck swapped in Garax 6000K low beams and fog lights, and VLEDs LED DRLs.

Chuck put sport back into sporty

Once he squared away the more cosmetic improvements, he set to work on making his IS 350 more sporty than it already was, starting with a set of BC Racing coilovers. Which were added to all 4 corners, complimented with a set F-Sport front and rear sway bars, and an LSD to keep the power to the ground. He also put his creative footprint on the brakes, adding a set of Stoptech Drilled Rotors with the 4 pot calipers. To finish things off, a set of Work Varianza T1S wheels with a step lip in Machine Silver Polish were mounted to complete the look and compliment the pearl white paint.

Chuck redecorates the interior

Moving inside Chuck's car, you will find that he's added Junction Produce neck pads and pillows, an F-Sport carbon fiber shift knob, and white Lexus illuminating door sills. Sounds are provided by JL Audio in the form of a 1000/2 amplifier, full components and tweeters, and a W7 12″ subwoofer. And for those moments that Chuck is so deeply engrossed in the power and comfort of his car that he loses sight of his speedometer, a Valentine One radar detector has been hardwired into his rearview mirror, warning him of any fast approaching speed traps.

Chuck supercharges his car

Now for the power. To give his IS 350 a bit more va-va-voom, Chuck added an LMS Procharger intercooled supercharger, an HKS SSQV blow-off valve, PPE Jet-Hot coated headers, a custom titanium mid pipe, and GReddy titanium quad exhaust. A quick peek under the hood would not so easily reveal these enhancements as the engine is covered by a custom paint matched pearl white engine cover.

Chuck has done a lot to turn his IS 350 into the sports car of his dreams. But considering how much he's done and how much more he plans to do, our best guess is that he may never stop transforming this blended vehicle until he comes up with a new blend of his own.
