1 - Exterior Look

Experts and automotive enthusiasts alike have made some pretty striking observations about the exterior look of the Lexus SC430. From complaints about the vehicle's "disproportionately" large headlamps to the "odd" shape of the custom tires and shallow wheel well, the overall exterior look of the Lexus SC430 is not a resounding favorite for many. For this reliable vehicle, it's recommended that you really consider if it's exterior look is "boring," "weird," "stylish," or a combination of all three.

2 - Deep Seats

Let's be honest here. Front seats play a significant role in driving experience. Great seats typically mean a great driving experience oftentimes irrespective of the actual road conditions outside. The SC430 boasts front and rear seats that are both and equally low to the floor. Bottom line: This is one driving experience that may not be for everyone, so plop down inside and test whether "low" means "go" for you!

3 - Interior Feel

Some cars are simply memorable, and others are, well, not so much. The jury is still out on whether the SC430 really wows when it comes to the luxurious woods, impeccable leathers and finely spun rugs that flatter the look and feel of the interior. For many luxury car owners, these luxury design elements simply offer up more of the "usual suspects" without actually reinventing the wheel. Check out the interior for yourself, and don't forget to pay attention to the textured aluminum panels, which may or may not pull the whole damn thing together. You be the judge!

4 - Gadgets

Every shiny, new vehicle needs its fair share of bells and whistles. Of course, you'd expect a robust navigation system, wireless Bluetooth streaming capability, and a high-performance stereo with a good set of speakers, but others options are also available. Now, it's true the SC430 delivers on all three counts, but it's still highly recommended that you see for yourself whether any or all of the gadgetry inside this popular Lexus vehicle are up to snuff. In the end, for many SC430 owners, while the stereo is good, it's not great. This point alone could be a deal-breaker for some. It's important to note an upgrade could cinch the deal.

5 - Engine Power

The engine power on the Lexus SC430 has a few strong selling points: It's strong (but not overly aggressive, nor is it trying to be. It's quiet, and it delivers smooth, continuous power for an even ride. Having said all of that, though, there are going to be some potential buyers who exit their test drive and immediately mutter, "Meh!" For the rest of the buyers, however, the SC430 will prove to deliver a respectable display of engine power. Because performance can really make or break an auto deal, this is one check you'll want to carry out before signing on the dotted line, no matter how good the deal may be. Bottom line: The engineering is not the winner of the decade, but a thorough test drive should help you determine if the SC430 offers a good dose of "oomph!" or "doh!"
