More Beautiful

Toyota Racing Division (TRD) has long been around to provide cool and unique parts for all sorts of Toyota and Lexus vehicles. The latest addition to its catalog is the LC, an already beautiful car that now has a host of exterior bits and pieces designed to make it look (and perform) even better. And in case you want to see how these parts look on your LC, the site even features a nifty 3D simulator with selectable color choices, too.

Front Lip

The LC's TRD upgrades begin as they usually do - With some exterior body parts. First, there is a front spoiler, or spoilers, rather. Two of the pieces are made from resin and fitted to each side of the front end, and are designed to increase downforce and give the front end a distinct look. A center rubber lip also provides a little bit of protection for the bumper.

Straight Line Prowess

On the sides, a set of skirts keeps the lowered look going and matches the stock LC's body lines. Toyota also says that these pieces increase straight-line driving stability thanks to their air directing prowess. But of course, they work best if used in unison with the rest of the body kit.

Subtle Upgrades

A set of aerodynamic mirror caps adds a bit of distinct style to the mix, though TRD doesn't provide any more information about them. In addition, the TRD LC parts bin includes two rear spoiler/wing options. The first of which is a more subtle piece designed to reduce rear lift and improve stability without looking too audacious.

Making a Statement

The rear wing, on the other hand, is a bit more visible. The floating style wing is also designed to increase downforce and stability and also features a carbon pattern on the backside to improve its looks. If nothing else, this new wing makes quite the design statement.

More Downforce

Out back, TRD now offers both a new rear diffuser and rear side spoilers. The diffuser consists of multiple fins and a mesh air duct, and both looks sporty and adds a moderate amount of downforce. Convertible owners can also opt for a very cool aerodynamics cowling, which extends from the front headrest to the rear and cuts down on wind buffeting at speed.

Visual Upgrade

Rounding out this list of upgrades is a set of 21-inch forged wheels available in three colors - Diamond Gray Metallic, Ice Black, and Lunanium Gun Metallic. Add them all together, and these new TRD parts make quite the visual difference on what is already one of the most beautiful grand touring machines out there. And that's certainly something that many owners can appreciate.
