The new Lexus LC 500 isn't just an exquisite grand touring machine - it's a fashion accessory. Now, as befits its fashionable style, you can see it in the windows at Barney's New York.
1. In 'Haute Pursuit' of Fashion
Lexus has been working diligently to transform itself into not just a maker of fine luxury automobiles, but a lifestyle brand as well. Its latest effort to do so expertly ties in the new, drop dead gorgeous LC and the world of high brow fashion. That effort is called "Haute Pursuit," and it's essentially a series of Barney's department store window displays that highlight both the LC's stylish design and some fine clothing and accessories.

2. Who Says Tires Can't Be Fashionable?
Shoppers who pass by Barney's New York, on Madison Avenue, this summer will undoubtedly notice that there's much more than a bunch of mannequins on display at the iconic department store. A total of four different window displays showcase various components of the Lexus LC, along with designer bags and shoes. The first window (and previous slide here) presents the front view of the LC in a stunning display. Next up are the LC's forged alloy wheels and high performance tires, the latter of which have been reproduced and blown up to adorn the walls surrounding a series of bags.

3. An Interior Worthy of a Frame
Lexus puts an incredible amount of effort into their interior designs, and the results are quite simply stunning. The third window in Barney's display is dedicated to the artful lines present in the LC's seats and door panels. Not only does it convey a sense of quality, but also lets you know that everything in the window was hand crafted, including the array of men's shoes and bags displayed.

4. The Visual Appeal of Sound
The fourth and final window displays something that you typically can't see: Sound. But somehow, the display accurately conveys the feeling you get listening to the Lexus LC's Mark Levinson-engineered sound system and the LC's powerplant. The idea for the display came from the car's Active Sound Control system, which enables speakers to make adjustments based on engine RPMs. In the window are a total of four LC dual exhaust systems provided by Lexus, which are hooked up to speakers and enclosed in a room lined with acoustic panels.

5. The Lexus LC 500 - Available at your Local Dealer
The 2018 Lexus LC 500 should be showing up on the floor of your local dealer right now. You may have to act fast to get one, since it is bound to be a popular halo model, and not sit on the lot for long. As long as you have about $100,000 to spend, you should be able to pick up the 471 hp V8, or 354hp V6/hybrid, luxury sports coupe at your local dealer in with just a few weeks wait.
