On the surface, the idea of watching a car get detailed might sound about as exciting as watching paint dry or an episode of The Mentalist. But when the car is an LFA, and the gents doing the detailing are the wizards from Houston’s Vive Auto Finishing and Detailing, it’s a different experience entirely.
Auto Shows sometimes are a complete blur of new models, product spokesmen, free booze, and enough walking to qualify for a half marathon. This year’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit was no exception. We’ve already covered what Lexus brought to the party. Here’s what everyone else was up to.
Sure the new Lexus GS F and the Jaguar XE S aren’t direct competitors, but I still got a kick out of this video—particularly the two-faced thumbnail—comparing the modern styling cues of the two marques.
Pictures are great and all, but there’s no substitute for walking around a car in person. Of course, well-shot video can bridge the gap somewhat. So don’t worry too much if you couldn’t make it to Detroit to check out the new GS F.
