The Rocket Bunny kit seems to be on every other FR-S at SEMA. But there’s a reason for that–it looks awesome. Maybe it’s time to bust out the rivet gun and Rocket Bunny all of the things?
Since the RC F was announced, it’s been pitted against one clear rival–the BMW M4. We’ve heard plenty about how they stack up, but this Head 2 Head is the most authoritative yet.
AutoGuide has reported that Lexus confirmed an RC F drop top at its National Dealer Meeting in Los Angeles. At the RC F launch, there was no talk about a drop top version. But you didn’t have to be Nostradamus to see this coming.
Given the company’s current position, it’s fun to remember that in the late ’80s, Lexus was a scrappy upstart standing in the shadows of the European luxury icons. It’s fair to note Cadillac was also making cars at that point.
SEMA is just a week away, and the Insta-Built RC F is coming together nicely. Lexus has posted some shots of the work being done at VIP Auto Salon on its official Instagram account, along with a sick pic of a Vossen CVT wheel fresh out of the cutter.
SEMA is right around the corner, and some more photos of the crazy RC F Sport Rocket Bunny is bringing to SEMA. I think the side shot is particularly awesome. I can’t wait to get some more photos of this baby in Sin City!
In the sports car world, everyone who’s anyone tests at the Nürburgring, so it should be no surprise that video of the RC F testing at the Green Hell is starting to trickle out. Round and round she goes–how fast? Somebody knows.
