Someone took the mild-mannered Lexus IS300 sedan from the early 2000s and shoehorned a 5.3-liter LS V8 into its empty engine bay, which originally housed a 3.0-liter I6. Two turbos provide even more oomph.

I don’t know about you all, but I’m not sick of the RC yet. This is coming from someone who’s seen the car in person. I know Lexus tried really hard with the old IS F, but this car is just so much more attractive than the one it replaces. I could oogle it forever…

Development of the new Lexus RC F is moving right along. Two RC F pre-production vehicles–wearing minimal camouflage–were just spotted running on the freeway right here in SoCal, not too far from Lexus HQ.
